Timberland
 Celebrating sixty years in existence in 2012, Timberland are an American founded and based company who specialise in outdoor wear and clothing and footwear. Their original marketing slogan was "Wind, Water, Earth, Sky" and in the 90's they released their collection of waterproof boots and shoes to the UK for the first time, sitting nicely alongside their clothing collection. An unlikely source of marketing for the company was the hop hop scene of the late 80's and 90's with any self respecting rapper seen in a pair of Timberland Boots in their latest videos on MTV. This spurned a copycat culture that saw the youth of American and Britain clamouring to get a pair of Timberland Shoes or Boots. Popular styles within the company's range include Timerland Earthkeepers and Timberland Boat Shoes. |
