 The famous green crocodile of the sports and fashion brand Lacoste features prominently on the majority of the products and garments that the company designs and produces. The story of the brand starts back in the early Nineteen Thirties when esteemed and successful tennis player Rene Lacoste teamed up with the leading designer French knitwear brand ran by entrepreneur Andre Gillier to create a range of high class sportswear that Rene could wear whilst on the court, with an eye to easy promotion and a project to work on once retired from the game of Tennis. The Lacoste footwear range has been an instant success with their minimal styling perfect for both casual and sports styles.
