Adidas ObyO David Beckham

Born in Essex, Legend in Manchester, World Wide Superstar, is perhaps the shortest way to describe the career of football star David Beckham. When the young floppy hair boy with the cockney accent was picked up by scouts of England’s most famous and successful club little did he and they know how well he would perform for the club. Part of the “Fergie Fledglings” of the early 1990’s Beckham was part of the FA Youth Cup winning side that included other greats such as Giggs, Scholes and Neville. Loaned out to Preston early in his career to garner experience, it was in 1996 that Beckham really caught the eye, scoring from the half way line in a match against Wimbledon, and in the photos and images that went around the world he was seen wearing Adidas Predator Boots. Beckham’s career went from strength to strength on the pitch, winning trophy after trophy at United including famously the Treble in 1999. Off the pitch he was also making waves, dating and then marrying Victoria “Posh Spice” Adams from the girl group Spice Girls.

Consistently through his career Beckham has worn Adidas and upon leaving United he chose to play for Spanish side Real Madrid rather than Barcelona due to their relationship with Adidas and likewise with AC Milan and LA Galaxy both of whom wear kits designed by Adidas.
